August 9, 2016

As previously announced, all IDPF members are invited to attend a Publishing Community Meeting on September 22 during W3C TPAC 2016 (Lisbon), co-sponsored by W3C and IDPF, as well as to attend other meetings throughout TPAC week, the flagship annual event for the global community developing Open Standards for the Web. A preliminary agenda for the Publishing Community Meeting is now available. Discussion panels will include experts and leaders from W3C, IDPF, Google,  IMS Global, Hachette, Penguin Random House, Wiley, European Digital Reading Lab, Readium, Adobe, DAISY, and more. Advance registration rates are available through September 2, and space is limited, so act now to take advantage of this unprecedented opportunity for IDPF members to learn more about the latest developments in digital publishing and other W3C activities; the registration page is available on the W3C site (register with your email address or request a free W3C public account if you do not already have one.)
