IDPF Begins Board Elections, Vote on Bylaws Change
Nine candidates are seeking election to eight seats on the IDPF Board of Directors. These candidates, affiliated with IDPF member organizations that include publishers, services providers, and industry organizations, hailr from Europe, Asia, and North America. The election is underway from January 22 through February 7, 2014. Each IDPF member Primary Representative is eligible to vote on behalf of their organization, and should have received an email ballot.
The ballot also includes a separate vote on a motion to amend the bylaws of the IDPF to provide that quorum for members votes shall be 25% of members in good standing, rather than the present 50% quorum requirement. This motion was recommended for member approval by unanimous vote of the IDPF Board of Directors.
