Spine overrides combining pre-paginated content and reflowable

Im wondering how to implement the following in my reading system:

"When a reflowable spine item follows a pre-paginated one, the reflowable one should start on the next page (as defined by the page-progression-direction ) when it lacks a page-spread-* property value. If the reflowable spine item has a page-spread-* specification, it must be honored (e.g., by inserting a blank page)."

"Similarly, when a pre-paginated spine item follows a reflowable one, the pre-paginated one should start on the next page (as defined by the page-progression-direction) when it lacks a page-spread-* property value. If the pre-paginated spine item has a page-spread-* specification, it must be honored (e.g., by inserting a blank page)."

If I have the following package document:
<metadata>
<meta property="rendition:layout">pre-paginated</meta>
<meta property="rendition:orientation">both</meta>
<meta property="rendition:spread">both</meta>
</metadata>
<spine page-progression-direction="ltr">
<itemref idref="id1" properties="page-spread-left" />
<itemref idref="id2" properties="page-spread-left" />
<itemref idref="id3" properties="page-spread-left" />
<itemref idref="id4" properties="rendition:layout-reflowable rendition:flow-paginated" />
<itemref idref="id5" properties="page-spread-right" />
</spine>

This raises a lot of questions for me:
1. Does the right slot of the synthethic spread between id1 and id2 have to be a blank?
2. Does the right slot of the synthethic spread between id2 and id3 have to be a blank?
3. Does id4 have to be rendered in the right slot of a synthetic spread, together with id3 that is in the left slot?
4. Does id5 have to be inside a right slot in a synthethic spread; with a blank page inserted in the left slot?
5. What happens when you push on the next/previous-page-button of id4? Will it still be in the spread? Will id3 still be visible?
6. Do the reflowable pages have to be "scaled", like the pre-paginated/fixed-layout pages that are rendered to fit inside the reading systems viewport?
7. What happens when the reflowable document has rendition:flow-scrolled-continuous set?

Hopefully someone can clarify these things for me. Thanks in advance!

Shouldn't this be described in the specification as this is impossible(?) to implement (question 7 for example).
