Hi,
I was just wondering if thought has been given to the rendering of traditional (or non-traditional) poetic forms in the ePub format?
I realise there are limitations in HTML for rendering line breaks etc correctly, but I was hoping there might have at least been some discussion about this with the ePub developers. E.g. how HTML treats all text as basically of a prose form and allows arbitrary line-breaks depending on the size of the screen and font etc. This is quite a problem for publishers of poetry.
I am investigating publishing some poetry in ePub format, but am having trouble seeing how I can do that with the current rendering of ePub of various devices.
Thanks.
